WELCOME LETTER
Most esteemed participants,

It is a great pleasure that I welcome you all to the 4th edition of ATALMUN -and the second session of ATAL Model United Nations Training and Development Conference- as the Secretary-General.
The second Secretary-General of United Nations Dag Hammarskjöld once said “The UN was not created to take mankind to heaven, but to save humanity from hell.”. A world with the UN is to ensure all nations obey the same common law that protect the individuals as well as nations rights. No nation or human being can ever deny human rights or international law and get away with it. The whole idea of the UN is to ensure peace, lawful order, and fairness to all. This is why we, as the MUN enthusiasts within the ATAL, created our club in the first place.
This December, we are organising a train-mun conference which will last for two days and have 3 committees separated by their levels in order to improve the eligibility of our club members and Antalya-wide delegates. And as a difference, this time we have a specific theme for our conference to create the suitable ambiance for Christmas.

In ATALTRAIN’18, we will simulate committees all of which are the actual bodies of UN: United Nations Security Council (Historical), Commission on Science and Technology for Development, and Economic and Financial Committee (GA-2 ECOFIN).
My most hardworking coworker and sweetest friend Andrei Klimko, whom I specifically want to express my gratitudes to, will be in the position of Deputy Secretary-General along with the rest of our Academic Team consisting of our experienced Academic Advisors Ceren Gökhan and Nilay Caner. Also YaÄŸmur TokoÄŸlu, the most enthusiastic Director General I have ever seen, her charismatic deputy Mustafa Yıldız, and our devoted Operational Advisor Ebru Yaman will be doing their best to make sure you have the best MUN experience for two days with the help of rest of our Organisation Team.
We are hoping to welcome the year of 2019 with you.

It is a great pleasure for me to welcome all of you to the 4th annual session of ATALMUN and our second ATAL Model United Nations Training and Development Conference as the Deputy Secretary-General.
​​
Since 2015, when we created our MUN club, -which was first MUN Club among public schools in Antalya- we begin to continuously expand. Our conferences were beginning of the MUN career for a lot of MUN enthusiasts in Antalya since they can give perfect education for beginners via our workshops and basic committees.
​
​
Also, our high-level committee will refer to experienced delegates who want to have another memorable MUN experience. And again, our mission for this train-Mun conference is to give proper experience for our club members and delegates across all Antalya.
At the end of this letter, I want to express my highest gratitude to my good friend, well-experienced Muner and Secretary-General of this conference dearest Åževval Alparslan without of whom this conference would never have been possible. Also, I want to give my thankfulness to the rest of our Academic Team including Ceren Gökhan and Nilay Caner. And not to forget great efforts of our organization team; our Director-General YaÄŸmur TokoÄŸlu, her deputy Mustafa Yıldız, and lastly our skilled operational advisor Ebru Yaman who did everything that she can to provide a perfect environment for debating and having a great time on our conference.
